School Board Members Day: The heart of local education

School Board Members Day on November 15 is our opportunity to thank our school board members for their dedication to the district and providing residents a local voice for Geneseo’s education decisions.

“On School Board Members Day, we proudly recognize the remarkable dedication our board members demonstrate on behalf of Geneseo’s students and staff,” said Superintendent Dr. Laura Delgado. “Their service reflects a deep commitment to ensuring every student in our district has access to meaningful, high-quality learning opportunities. We are truly grateful for their leadership, their partnership, and their unwavering belief in the power of public education.”

School board members serve as volunteer advocates striving for quality education opportunities for all students throughout Geneseo’s schools. These individuals take on this responsibility not for a paycheck, but for their commitment to our community and its children.

Our school board members wear many hats – they are education leaders, policy makers, contract negotiators, and budgeteers. But they are also our neighbors, our friends, and Geneseo’s biggest fans.

To our Board of Education, thank you!

Thank you to everyone who serves on Geneseo’s Board of Education!
