Tabletop Games Club:

Tabletop Games Club will be meeting today after school in room 10. 

 

Gray Matters Meeting:

Gray Matters will be meeting Friday during WIN in the Theatre. Everyone is welcome to attend. Make sure to check in with your WIN teacher first. 


Homecoming Candidate Nominations: 

 Attention Students:  Please check your email for a Homecoming nomination ballot. The nominations to select your class homecoming candidates will be open until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Another election will be held during homecoming week to choose attendants.


Student Council:

Are you looking for a new club to join, well there is some very exciting news!!! Student Council has a new meeting day and time! We will now meet on the late start Thursday mornings at 8:35 a.m. Joining Student Council is very easy, just fill out a membership petition. Pick up a petition today from Mrs. Laingen in Room 19 or Mrs. Brewer in Room 26. Meetings are every Thursday at 8:35 a.m. in the Theatre! Come check us out this Thursday!!


Homecoming Reminder:

To attend the Homecoming dance you must have all your past due discipline served.  You may serve detentions from 7:25 a.m. to 7:55 a.m. in room 13 with Ms. Anderson or from 3:05 p.m. to 3:35 p.m. in room 14 with Ms. Schnowske.

 

Robotics Team:

If you are interested in joining the Robotics Team, please come to an informational meeting on Friday, September 8th in the STEM Lab Room 35 at 7:40 a.m.  Please see Mrs. Bertelsen with any questions.  

 

Silver Cord Opportunity:

Park District volunteer opportunities and contact information are listed on the announcement bulletin board across from the Front Office.

 

Silver Cord Opportunity:

The Quad Cities Bicycle Club needs student volunteers to help us put on a long-distance bicycle ride on September 16.  We need help with marking routes on the afternoon of September 15, by posting route signs, and in the afternoon of September 16 in removing them.   We need approximately 4 students for this activity.  You can expect 2 hours credit for this activity.  We also need help on September 16 itself in setting up of the event area (behind the Geneseo Brewing Company) and tearing it down, as well as working the snack stop we’ll be running that day.  We need approximately 2 students for that phase.  You would get credit for as many hours you work.  If interested, contact Les Nepper at 309-230-5259 or email him at lesnepper@aol.com The deadline to sign up is September 13.


Sophomore Float:

There will be a Sophomore Class Design Team Meeting on Friday, September 8th at 7:30 a.m. in Mrs. Degarmo's room. Sophomores who are interested in designing the Homecoming float should attend the meeting. Class officers are required to attend the meeting. Please bring ideas to the meeting!


School Pictures Reminder:

Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors will have individual pictures on

September 7th & 8th. Pictures will be during your ELA class.

 

Girls Swim Team:

Girls Swim Team is back and looking for swimmers! It's a great cross-training exercise plus loads of fun. Please text Coach Gina at 530-588-8147 if you are interested.

 

Guest Forms for Homecoming:

Guests Verification Forms for the Homecoming Dance are available outside the Assistant Principals' office or in the Main Office.  These will be due to the Assistant Principals' office no later than Tuesday, September 12th.
