Radio Club:
Radio Club will meet today at 3:10 p.m. in the Radio Studio. All students with an interest in radio broadcasting are welcome.
Special Olympics Reminder:
This is a reminder that Unified Special Olympics bowling practice is today, Tuesday September 12th at Arcadia bowling alley from 3:15-4:30.
Yearbook Meeting:
If you are interested in working on the yearbook or in taking pictures for yearbook there will be a brief informational meeting today after school in Mrs. Brewer’s room #26. We will be done by 3:30. If you can’t make it please let Mrs. Brewer or Mrs. Anton know.
Sophomore Float:
There will be a design team meeting for any Sophomore who is interested with helping design the Sophomore Class Float. The meeting will take place today during WIN in Mrs. Degarmo's room. All are welcome!
Bowling Meeting:
Attention Boys and Girls interested in Bowling: If you are interested in Bowling this Winter there will be an informational meeting with the coaches on Wednesday, September 20th at 3:15 p.m. in the Commons. Please attend.
Homecoming Reminder:
To attend the Homecoming dance you must have all your past due discipline served. You may serve detentions from 7:25 a.m. to 7:55 a.m. in room 13 with Ms. Anderson or from 3:05 p.m. to 3:35 p.m. in room 14 with Ms. Schnowske.
College 101 Group:
Are you planning on attending college next year, but still have a lot of questions? Check out the College 101 group! This group is for Seniors who want more information about all things college. Deciding where to apply, picking the right school, how to pay and more! This group will meet in the Theatre every Wednesday, beginning September 20, during WIN for about 8 weeks. If you are interested, please stop by the counseling office to sign up by Friday, September 15!
Basketball Cheerleading Tryouts:
Basketball Cheer Tryouts are coming soon! Clinics will be on September 17, 18, and 20th with Tryouts on September 21st. See the flyer outside the Main Office for the link and information about the clinics and tryouts.

Park District volunteer opportunities and contact information are listed on the announcement bulletin board across from the Front Office.

The Quad Cities Bicycle Club needs student volunteers to help us put on a long-distance bicycle ride on September 16. We need help with marking routes on the afternoon of September 15, by posting route signs, and in the afternoon of September 16 in removing them. We need approximately 4 students for this activity. You can expect 2 hours credit for this activity. We also need help on September 16 itself in setting up of the event area (behind the Geneseo Brewing Company) and tearing it down, as well as working the snack stop we’ll be running that day. We need approximately 2 students for that phase. You would get credit for as many hours you work. If interested, contact Les Nepper at 309-230-5259 or email him at lesnepper@aol.com. The deadline to sign up is September 13.

Guests Verification Forms for the Homecoming Dance are available outside the Assistant Principals' office or in the Main Office. These will be due to the Assistant Principals' office no later than Tuesday, September 12th.
