Congratulations Cross Country:
Congratulations to the Girls and Boys Cross Country Teams! Both teams won The Western Big 6 Conference Championships last night in Rock Island. Brooklyn Smith and Lucy Wachtel medaled in the girls race and Dylan Gehl, Sam Mosbarger, and Jaxson Sottos medaled in the boys race earning first team All-Conference Honors. Congratulations to both teams and runners!
Writer’s Club:
The Writer’s Club will hold an informational meeting in the Library Lobby during WIN on Monday, October 16. From there, we will determine our more routine meeting schedule after school. We are a group that loves to write and share our work with the broader community. If you cannot attend, please contact Mrs. Brossman for more details.
Fall Play:
This year’s fall play is “Little Women.” Performances are this Friday and Saturday, October 13 and 14, in the DePauw Theatre. Curtain is 7:00 p.m. both nights. Tickets are $10.00 each. Come and see your friends in this fine performance.
Soup Is Back:
Soup will be back for lunch starting on Monday, October 16th. Please see the signs on the serving lines for the flavors of the day.
Dance Marathon 3 Bags Tournament:
Hey GHS! Dance Marathon 3 is putting on one of their first fundraisers of the year with a Bags Tournament! It is $10 to enter a 2-person team, and free to watch! We will have hot chocolate and DM3 merch at the event as well. Pick up a team form in Mr. Kelly’s Room 28, and turn in your form by October 13th . We hope to see everyone there!!
