Thespian Meeting:
There will be an important meeting for all Thespians on Wednesday, November 1st in the DePauw Theatre from 3:15 to 4:00 p.m. Important information will be shared and there are topics to be voted on.
Monmouth College Visit:
On Thursday, November 2nd Monmouth College will be visiting Geneseo High School during 6th hour. If you are interested in meeting with Rylee from Monmouth, please visit the counseling office for more details and to sign up. You must sign up before to obtain a pass and confirm the visit will be taking place.
Boys Volleyball Game and Toy Drive:
All students are invited to come watch some great Volleyball action as the Junior Boys team takes on the Senior Boys team in the Annual Boys Volleyball Game/Toy Drive. Mark your calendars for Thursday, November 9 in the big gym, the game will begin at 7:00 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Admission to the event is a new unwrapped toy. All donations will go to support Foster Hope. Monetary donations can also be made at the door. Put a little hope into the upcoming holiday season for foster children and their families. The entire community is welcome to attend, students, parents and younger siblings.
Boys Volleyball Waivers:
Attention Junior and Senior Boys: The Boys Volleyball game waivers have been passed out to the first 15 boys to sign up in each class. Be sure to return those waivers to Mrs. Laingen or Mrs. Brewer by Thursday, November 2 to secure your spot on the team.
Aisle of Flags:
Are you looking for more Silver Cord hours? We are in need of students to help put out Flags at City Park for Veterans Day. Veterans Day is Saturday, November 11. Flags go up at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday and come down at 2:00 p.m. Many volunteers are needed. Sign up in the GHS Front Office if you would like to volunteer for Aisle of Flags.
