ELA Lab Cancelled:
There will be no ELA lab today.
Writer’s Club:
The Writer’s Club will host its first official meeting on Tuesday, November 7, from 3:00-4:30 in Mrs. Brossman’s room (4). Anyone is welcome to attend, even if you did not make it to our informational meeting in October. We hope to see you there!
Boys Basketball:
The Boys Basketball Team is looking for Managers. See Coach Hill on his cart if you are interested. The first practice is Monday, November 6th after school in the Main Gym.
Lunch Detention Reminder:
Students who serve lunch detentions must remember to put their last name on the sign-in sheet, the time in and out, as well as obtain a lunch supervisor signature. Without complete information on the daily sheet credit will not be given.
Senior Class Favorites Final Voting:
A Google Form was sent to seniors yesterday to vote on the top options from initial voting. The window to vote closes on Friday. Look for an email from Mrs. Anton.
Boys Volleyball Game and Toy Drive:
All students are invited to come watch some great Volleyball action as the Junior Boys team takes on the Senior Boys team in the Annual Boys Volleyball Game/Toy Drive. Mark your calendars for Thursday, November 9 in the big gym, the game will begin at 7:00 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Admission to the event is a new unwrapped toy. All donations will go to support Foster Hope. Monetary donations can also be made at the door. Put a little hope into the upcoming holiday season for foster children and their families. The entire community is welcome to attend, students, parents and younger siblings.
Aisle of Flags:
Are you looking for more Silver Cord hours? We are in need of students to help put out Flags at City Park for Veterans Day. Veterans Day is Saturday, November 11. Flags go up at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday and come down at 2:00 p.m. Many volunteers are needed. Sign up in the GHS Front Office if you would like to volunteer for Aisle of Flags.
