Parking:
Student parking stickers are available for Senior, Junior, and Sophomore students at the end of your school day each Wednesday from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. Please note, you may not leave class or Study Hall to obtain a parking sticker. Sophomore students must present a driver's license. Your Skyward account will be charged $35 when you pick up a sticker.
Gray Matters:
The Gray Matters is looking for new leaders! If you are interested in becoming a leader of the Gray Matters, please fill out an application located in Mrs. Davidson's room 10. We would love to have you!
Writer’s Club:
The Writer’s Club will host its first official meeting on Tuesday, November 7, from 3:00-4:30 in Mrs. Brossman’s room (4). Anyone is welcome to attend, even if you did not make it to our informational meeting in October. We hope to see you there!
Boys Volleyball Game and Toy Drive:
All students are invited to come watch some great Volleyball action as the Junior Boys team takes on the Senior Boys team in the Annual Boys Volleyball Game/Toy Drive. Mark your calendars for Thursday, November 9 in the big gym, the game will begin at 7:00 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Admission to the event is a new unwrapped toy. All donations will go to support Foster Hope. Monetary donations can also be made at the door. Put a little hope into the upcoming holiday season for foster children and their families. The entire community is welcome to attend, students, parents and younger siblings.
Aisle of Flags:
Are you looking for more Silver Cord hours? We are in need of students to help put out Flags at City Park for Veterans Day. Veterans Day is Saturday, November 11. Flags go up at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday and come down at 2:00 p.m. Many volunteers are needed. Sign up in the GHS Front Office if you would like to volunteer for Aisle of Flags.
