NHS:
Attention All Eligible NHS Applicants: Please be sure to have your two teacher evaluations and the survey completed by 3:00 PM today! Mr. Kelly emailed all the details to you last week. NOT completing these steps will make you ineligible to become a member of National Honor Society.
Soccer Slam:
The Seth Ernst Committee wants to thank the high school students who helped at our tournament this past weekend. We sincerely appreciate what that you did to make it a great time for all!! Get your GHS Men's, Women's or Co-Ed team signed up by Feb. 10th! All teams will play on Sunday, March 2nd. Have a great week, and thanks again for your help!

The February SLAP meeting will be moved from February 4th to February 11th.

There will be a Girl Up meeting on Wednesday Feb 5th at 7:35 AM in Room 2.
Culver’s Share Night:
Join Us for a Culver's Share Night to Support Dance Marathon! Mark your calendars for Tuesday, February 4th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and support an amazing cause! We're partnering with Culver's for a Share Night to raise funds for Dance Marathon—the annual event that supports children's hospitals and pediatric healthcare. You can dine in or drive-thru at Culver's between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM on February 4th. 10% of all sales during this time will be donated directly to Dance Marathon! So, bring your friends, family, and your appetite to make a difference in the lives of children in need!
CRUSH Cans:
Do you have a secret CRUSH? Send someone a can of CRUSH pop anonymously for Valentine’s Day. Buy a can of CRUSH pop from any Student Council member for $1, and your secret crush can return the can to find out who sent it for 50 cents. Don’t miss out on the Valentine’s Day fun. Sales are now open through February 6.
Singing Telegrams:
Send a Singing Telegram to that special someone or send one to a friend. Student Council members are now selling Singing Telegrams for $5 each. The song and a flower will be delivered on Thursday, February 13 since February 14 is a half-day. Sales are open now through Feb. 6. Don’t miss out on this special Valentine’s tradition.
Gray Matters:
Gray Matters is looking for new leaders to join their group. If you are interested, you can pick up an application in the Assistant Principals' Office or from Mrs. Davidson, Room 10. Applications need to be signed by parents and turned in to Mrs. Davidson by Friday, February 7th.
Soccer Slam:
GHS students may now register a Men's, Women's, or Coed Team AND the day of play will ONLY be Sunday, March 2nd! Look for a flyer around the high school with the registration page QR code or go to: GHS DIVISION on the website. Registration closes February 10th...For The Love of The Game!
Silver Cord Opportunity – Woodridge:
If you have 6th or 7th early release, Woodridge is looking for some students who would be interested in visiting with residents to help with activities and play Bingo during 6th & 7th period. If you are interested, contact Jennifer at 309-944-9600. To earn Silver Cord hours, be sure to have your Silver Cord timesheet filled out so the supervisor can sign when you volunteer.

Northside is hosting a Family Math Night on February 25th and is looking for student volunteers. If you would like to volunteer, information is posted on the GHS Announcements bulletin board in the main hall.
