Congratulations to our Special Olympic athletes who competed in Track and Field events this weekend:
Rileigh Chambers: 2 gold medals
Christopher Collister: 2 silver medals
Landon Bassett: 1 gold and 1 bronze
Claire Yenor: 1 gold and 1 bronze
Avan Wiltermood: 1 4th place
Senior Meeting on Tuesday:
All Seniors need to report to the Theatre for WIN on Tuesday for a Senior meeting. Do not check in with your WIN teacher first, go directly to the Theatre.
Girls Basketball Meeting:
We will have a meeting about Summer Girls Basketball on Tuesday morning May 6th at 7:40 AM in the Theatre. Please plan on attending. The meeting will last about 10 minutes. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Hardison.
Dance Marathon 5:
If you are interested in being a captain for Dance Marathon 5 next year, please use the QR code found on the green Dance Marathon posters found around the school. Applications are due by May 11.
Junior Open Campus Lunch:
The next Open Campus Lunch opportunity will be Friday, May 9th!
To qualify, you need to have a grade of C- or higher in all classes and have no unserved discipline or unpaid library fines. Eligibility will be determined on Wednesday, May 7th. Eligibility notices will be distributed on the morning of Open Campus Lunch, on Friday, May 9th. Students who qualify will have additional time for lunch. If you receive a notice, please be sure to read it for your exact leaving and return times.
Music Festival Queen Pageant:
Information forms for the annual Geneseo Music Festival Queen Pageant are available in the Front Office. The Geneseo Rotary-sponsored pageant is Friday, June 13, in City Park, and the pageant is open to Geneseo High School graduating senior girls. Scholarships from the Rotary Club will be awarded to the Queen and four runners-up. Forms will be accepted in the GHS Front Office through Friday, May 23.
