Congratulations Cross Country:
The GHS Cross Country Teams participated in the Annawan - Wethersfield Invitational last night in Kewanee. There were 17 teams in each division. The teams did great! Both the girls' and the boys' teams won their meets. Brooklyn Smith, Charlize Wachtel, Evy DeBaene, Alivia Brown, Lucy Wachtel, and Liberty Brumbaugh earned medals in the girls race. Henley Bourne, Jaxson Sottos, Graysen Carlson, Grayson Claerhout, and Kaden Elmer earned medals for the guys race. Congratulations GHS Cross Country teams!

Silver Cord Opportunity – Henry County Humane Society:
The Henry County Humane Society is looking for volunteers! Earn Silver Cord hours while helping animals in need. Applications are available in the Front Office.
Loras College & Midwest Technical Institute Visit:
On Friday, September 5th, Loras College will be visiting Geneseo High School during WIN and Midwest Technical Institute during 6th period. If you are interested in meeting with Loras College or Midwest Technical Institute, please visit the Counseling Office for more details and to sign up. You must sign up before to obtain a pass, and confirm the visit will be taking place.
Silver Cord Opportunity – Harold Neumann Project:
The Harold Neumann Project will be co-hosting an event at the Geneseo Museum for Trains, Planes & Automobiles on September 6th. We need people to sign up on Friday the 5th after school to help set up behind the museum. On Saturday the 6th we need people to help at individual games with kids and to give out prizes any time between 10-2. We will need cleanup people from 2-3:30 as well.
