Junior & Senior October Study Hall Release:
Junior & Senior Study Hall Release for the month of October will begin on Wednesday, October 1st. Students who are required to stay will begin receiving notices Monday, September 29th & Tuesday, September 30th. If you do not receive a notice, you do not have to report to Study Hall. Please check the announcement board outside the front office for more info.
Augustana College & University of Iowa Visit:
On Friday, September 26, Augustana College will be visiting Geneseo High School during WIN and the University of Iowa during 7th period. If you are interested in meeting with Augustana College or the University of Iowa, please visit the Counseling Office for more details and to sign up. You must sign up before to obtain a pass, and confirm the visit will be taking place.
Attention Bowlers:
All Girls and Boys interested in participating in the Bowling teams this Winter should stop by the Commons on Thursday, September 25 between 7:45 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. for more information and to sign up. Coaches will be available to take down your information and give you more details.
Attention QC Storm Hockey Fans:
The QC Storm President, Brian Rothenberger, and Storm mascot, Radar, will be at GHS before school on Friday, October 3rd. Radar is looking to take selfies with students at the main entrance. He will also be giving away 4 tickets to an upcoming QC Storm game. To enter to win the tickets, fill out an entry form in the GHS Front Office. The drawing will take place Tuesday, September 30th at 8:00 a.m. In order to receive the tickets, you must be present on October 3rd at 7:00 a.m. to meet Brian and Radar.
Silver Cord Opportunity – Food Pantry:
