Change for a Change:
Attention all students: Starting on Monday, the Spanish 3 students will be collecting spare change for a fundraiser called "Change for a Change". The spare change they collect will be donated to Healing Waters International, a program that provides clean water to countries around the world. Please consider bringing in your spare change to share with the people in the world who truly are in need! Thank you!
Trades Interest Group:
Join us for Trades Interest Group this Friday during WIN in the Concert Hall. Each Friday this group will have speakers from local companies speak about their positions and programs. This week will be led by the Tri-City Building Trades Council Executive Director, Brian Atkins. If you come to the next 3 meetings, you will qualify for a field trip to Midwest Technical Institute. See Mrs. Lavine in the counseling office if you would like to sign up. All grades are welcome.
Student Fan Bus:
There will be a student Fan Bus going to Macomb this Saturday, November 8th to cheer on The Green Machine in the 2nd round of Playoffs. The bus will leave GHS at 10:30 am and return at approx. 5:00 pm. The cost is $5 to ride the bus and must be paid at sign-up. Fans will still need a ticket into the game (it is GoFan digital ticketing or $9 at the gate). Sign up in the Athletic Office as there are limited seats. Students may only sign up for themselves and cannot reserve a spot for anyone else.
US Air Force Visit:
On Monday, November 10th, the US Air Force will be visiting Geneseo High School during WIN. If you are interested in meeting with the US Air Force, please visit the Counseling Office for more details and to sign up. You must sign up before to obtain a pass, and confirm the visit will be taking place.
Journalism Club:
Journalism Club meets today in Mrs. Ritchie's (room 1), after school.
Veterans Day Invitations:
Attention Students – if you would like to invite a Veteran to the GHS Veterans Day Assembly on November 11, please stop by the Front Office to pick up an invitation with the information.
Silver Cord Opportunity – Food Pantry:
