Boys Volleyball Game – Toy Drive:
Come on out Wednesday night, November 19 at 8:00 pm to support Foster Hope. The Student Council is hosting the Annual Boys Volleyball Game--Toy Drive. Teams of Juniors vs. Seniors will compete in a Boys Volleyball Game. Bring a new toy for admission or a cash donation. The games will take place in the main gym, with drawings for prizes in between sets. This is a fun night you won’t want to miss, come support this great organization!!
Wrestling Managers Needed:
The Geneseo Wrestling Team is looking for managers. If you are interested, stop by the wrestling room afterschool today or Monday and talk to Coach Rusk.
Trades Interest Group:
Join us for Trades Interest Group today during WIN in the Concert Hall. Each Friday this group has speakers from local companies talk about their positions and programs. This week will be led by Heritage Tractor. See Mrs. Lavine in the counseling office if you would like to sign up. All grades are welcome.
Change for a Change:
Attention all students: Today is the last day to donate to Change for a Change! Please consider donating, as every little bit helps. You can make a change in the world! Find a Spanish 3 student or stop by room 3 with your donation today. Thank you so much for helping others in the world have access to clean water and an education on how to stay healthy! Thank you for saving lives!
AP Exam Opt-Out/Drop:
If you are in an AP course and plan to drop at semester or opt-out of the AP exam, you will need to let Mrs. Lavine or your AP teacher know by today to avoid getting a $40 testing fee. If you have any questions, please ask your AP teacher or Mrs. Lavine in the counseling office.
Silver Cord Opportunity – Operation Christmas Child:
GHS students are invited to earn silver cord hours at an Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Packing Party. Volunteers will be packing items into shoeboxes that will be sent around the world to share hope with children. It will be held at Kingswood Church (formerly First Methodist) today from 4-8pm, and Saturday, November 15, from 9am-2pm. Drop by anytime. It will be held in the south campus building, which is located across the parking lot from the church. Please bring your silver cord timesheet.
