STRIVE Meeting:

There is a STRIVE meeting for seniors who have been invited. This will be during WIN in the Theatre today.

Thespian Meeting:

There will be an important meeting for all Thespians on Thursday, November 20 in the DePauw Theatre from 3:15 to 3:45 PM.  Please check your emails leading up to this meeting for important information pertaining to the meeting.

 

Costa Rica Trip:

Do you love adventure? Have you ever wanted to zip line through the rain forest, go white water rafting and snorkeling, relax in hot springs, or kayak past a Volcano? All of these are possible if you join us when we travel to COSTA RICA in the summer of 2027! There will be an informational meeting on Sunday, December 7th at 6:00 PM in the Theatre. All students and parents received a message about meeting details via ParentSquare or email. If you have questions before then, please see Mrs. Litton in room 20. Get excited for the adventure of a lifetime!

 

Journalism Club:

Journalism Club will meet Thursday after school this week from 3:00-4:00 in Mrs. Ritchie's room. We will be finalizing the publication for December.

 

Junior and Senior December Study Hall Release:

Study Hall Release will begin on Monday, December 1st. Students who are required to stay will begin receiving notices Thursday, November 20th & Friday, November 21st. If you do not receive a notice, you do not have to report to study hall. Please check the announcement board outside the Front Office for more info. 

 

Scholastic Bowl:

Varsity and JV Scholastic Bowl teams will depart at 3:15 pm today for the Princeton Quad Meet. Be on the bus outside the cafeteria commons doors by 3:10.

 

Boys Volleyball Game – Toy Drive:

Come on out Wednesday night, November 19 at 8:00 pm to support Foster Hope. The Student Council is hosting the Annual Boys Volleyball Game--Toy Drive. Teams of Juniors vs. Seniors will compete in a Boys Volleyball Game. Bring a new toy for admission or a cash donation. The games will take place in the main gym, with drawings for prizes in between sets. This is a fun night you won’t want to miss, come support this great organization!!

 

Silver Cord Opportunity – Food Pantry:

Looking for a place to complete Silver Cord hours? The Geneseo-Atkinson Food Pantry is in need of volunteers on Monday evenings, 4:00-7:00 p.m. Please contact Nicole at the Food Pantry, 309-944-3165 or email: geneseopantry1@gmail.com

 

Silver Cord Opportunity – Henry County Humane Society:

The Henry County Humane Society is looking for volunteers! Earn Silver Cord hours while helping animals in need. Applications are available on the Henry County Humane Society website. 

 

Silver Cord Opportunity – Park District:

There is a list of upcoming volunteer opportunities at the Park District posted on the Announcements bulletin board in the main hallway.  Hours, position details and contact information is included.
