Hat, Mitten, Scarf Collection:
Winter weather is on its way, so it's time to remember those in need. The Student Council will be holding a hat, mitten and scarf collection thru Friday, December 12. Bring in new or gently used winter items and you could win a $50 Amazon gift card. For each donated item your name is entered into a raffle to win. Get into the giving spirit and donate before school in front of the office.
Volley Tennis Sign Up:
GHS Dance marathon is hosting a volley tennis tournament on Monday, December 15th. Sign up using the QR codes posted around the school in teams of 4-5 people. Cost is $5 per person and you can pay at the event. Sign up by Friday the 12th, we look forward to seeing you there!
Dance Marathon – Culver’s Night:
Tonight is Dance Marathon Share Night at Culver’s! From 5 to 8 p.m., come enjoy your favorite burgers, fries, and custard while supporting a great cause. A portion of the night’s proceeds will go directly to GHS Dance Marathon, which raises money for the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital in Iowa City.
Deck the Halls Contest:
Please be putting the final touches on your door decorating during WIN. WIN classes have through Wednesday to finish up.
Soccer Slam:
Registration is OPEN for the 19th annual Seth Ernst Memorial Soccer Slam! GHS Men's and Women's Teams play on Sunday, February 1st with a sign-up deadline of January 9th. sethernstsoccerslam.org/registration/

Student Council is sponsoring a Spirit Week the week before break, December 15-19. Get your outfits ready and participate in this fun week of dress up days.
