Senior Scholarship Meeting:

All seniors are required to attend a Local Scholarship presentation in the Theatre during WIN today. Before proceeding to the Theatre, please check in with your WIN teacher. This presentation will provide seniors with crucial details about our local scholarship program.

PE and Wellness Makeups Today:

PE and Wellness make ups during WIN today have been cancelled.  Go to your scheduled WIN class today.

 

Junior & Senior Study Hall Release:

Study Hall release for Juniors and Seniors will begin on Monday, January 12th. Students who are required to stay will receive notices. If you do not receive a notice, you do not have to report to Study Hall. Please check the announcement board outside the Front Office for more info. 

 

Foreign Language Club:

Our next meeting is Wednesday, January 14th, at 3:00 pm. The meeting will take place in room 2, Mr. Reyes' classroom. Please plan to meet there instead of room 3. Mr. Reyes will be telling us all about Spain! Hope to see you there!

 

Student Parking:

Just a reminder regarding Student Parking and Student Parking areas:

West Lot: Across from the main school doors, student parking is from the 2nd row back, the entire front row is limited to staff parking only.

Facility Lot:  North end of the main school building, is fully available for student parking with the exception of the 5 spaces which face North/South as you enter the lot.

South Lot:  Fine Arts end of the building, this lot is strictly staff parking only and you may not park in this area during school days and school hours.

State Street Parking: (in front of the school building) is strictly staff parking only and you may not park on the street in front of the building during the school day and school hours.

If you have any questions regarding student parking, please see Officer Berthoud or stop by the Assistant Principal’s Office.

 

Soccer Slam:

Registration for the Seth Ernst Memorial Soccer Slam has been extended until Monday, January 12th at midnight. Grab some friends for a one-day tournament right here at the GFAC on February 1st. All teams are guaranteed 3 games and a lot of fun! Register today online or by using the QR code on flyers throughout the building. 

 

Silver Cord Opportunity – Food Pantry:

Looking for a place to complete Silver Cord hours? The Geneseo-Atkinson Food Pantry is in need of volunteers on Monday evenings, 4:00-7:00 p.m. Please contact Nicole at the Food Pantry, 309-944-3165 or email: geneseopantry1@gmail.com

 

Silver Cord Opportunity – Henry County Humane Society:

The Henry County Humane Society is looking for volunteers! Earn Silver Cord hours while helping animals in need. Applications are available on the Henry County Humane Society website.
