FFA Week:
Happy FFA PIE Day and Hat Day! Students wearing hats today should pay $1 during 1st hour for their blue sticker supporting the Illinois Foundation FFA.
Pie a Teacher or Officer Event: During WIN today, students are invited to the Main Gym for the pieing ceremony! Students need to check in with their WIN teacher first for attendance. Students - if you purchased a ticket, make sure you are there!! 3 tickets will be drawn from the teacher bucket and 3 from the officer bucket, and the selected students will get to pie their chosen teacher or officer!
🚜 FFA Chapter Meeting (Ag Olympics) at 5:00 PM in the Ag Lab — all members and guests are encouraged to attend!
Attention Sophomore Class:
Your Butter Braid orders are now due. Please turn in your orders and money in front of the main office before school. Orders will be collected now through Friday.
Blood Drive Reminders:
Reminder to all students who signed up for the blood drive: The annual blood drive is tomorrow, Thursday, February 26 in the Main Gym. Appointment slips reminders will be passed out today in WIN. Donors are reminded to eat a good breakfast and drink plenty of water. For any questions, please see Mrs. Brewer or Mrs. Laingen.
Gray Matters:
Please join us for the Gray Matters meeting on Friday in the Theatre during WIN. Please check in with your WIN teacher before coming to the Theatre. Hope to see you there!
Journalism Club:
Journalism Club will meet Thursday in Mrs. Ritchie's room from 3-4.
Ping Pong Club:
Attention Ping Pong players - we will have Ping Pong Club today from 3:15-4:45. We will have 3 tables set up in the lunch commons area for anyone interested in playing. We have a few paddles, but please bring your own if you have one. This will be our last meeting, and we will have our final tournament.
Foreign Language Club:
Today we will have a presentation on Peru, given by Mrs. Lindberg. Come see how amazing Peru is! Hope to see you there!
Junior and Senior March Study Hall Release:
Junior and Senior March Study Hall release will begin on Monday, March 2nd. Students who are required to stay will begin receiving notices Thursday, February 26th & Friday February 27th. If you do not receive a notice, you do not have to report to Study Hall. Please check the announcement board outside the Front Office for more info.
Silver Cord Opportunity – Northside Math Night:
Volunteers are needed at the Northside Math Night on Wednesday, March 4 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. If you are interested in volunteering, please email Ashley Morey at ashley.morey@geneseoschools.org.
