College Athletic Signing Day:
If you are a senior interested in participating in College Athletic Signing Day, please stop by the Athletic Office to sign up. Signing Day is April 27th and 28th during WIN. Stop by the Athletic Office for any questions.
Foreign Language Club:
Just a reminder that your cards are due by Monday, April 20th. Please turn them in to Mrs. Lindberg as soon as they are done.
Music Festival Queen Pageant:
Information forms for the annual Geneseo Music Festival Queen Pageant are available in the Front Office. The Geneseo Rotary-sponsored pageant is Friday, June 19, in City Park, and the pageant is open to Geneseo High School graduating seniors. Scholarships from the Rotary Club will be awarded to the Queen and four runners-up. Forms will be accepted in the GHS Front Office through Friday, May 22.
Coe College Visit:
On Thursday, April 16th, Coe College will be visiting Geneseo High School during 6th period. If you are interested in meeting with Coe College, please visit the Counseling Office for more details and to sign up. You must sign up before to obtain a pass, and confirm the visit will be taking place.
Student Council President Petitions:
Petitions for the 2026-27 Student Council President are now available. Candidates must be a current Junior with one year of Student Council experience. Candidates must acquire 50 signatures and petitions are due by Thursday, April 16. Depending on the number of candidates, there will be time to campaign followed by an All-School election. See Mrs. Laingen in Room 19 or Mrs. Brewer in Room 26 to pick up a petition.
Journalism Club:
Journalism Club will meet Thursday, April 16th at 3:00 in Mrs. Ritchie’s room. We will be taking our yearbook photo- please make plans to attend.
Attention Seniors:
This is a reminder that Silver Cord Timesheets are due today, this is the last day to turn them in to the Front Office.
Silver Cord Opportunity – GMS Grounds Day:
There is an opportunity to earn Silver Cord hours at GMS on Saturday, April 18th. Help at GMS Grounds Day from 9:00 a.m. – Noon. Stay as long as you can. Donuts, pizza, and water will be provided to volunteers. See the flyer on the Announcements Bulletin Board in the Main Hall for more information.
