Spring Splash:
Spring Splash to Support GHS Life Skills and Inspire Continuing Care will be on Friday, April 24th. Sign up today at lunch or by using the QR codes on flyers around the building. Teams of 4, minimum donation of $5 per participant. Any questions, see Miss Miller or Mrs. VerStraete.
Attention Seniors:
Cap & Gown pick up will be in the main lobby during the lunch period today. Please stop by to pick up your items during lunch.
College Athletic Signing Day:
If you are a senior interested in participating in the College Athletic Signing Day, please stop by the Athletic Office to sign up. Signing Day is April 27th and 28th during WIN. Stop by the Athletic Office for any questions.
Foreign Language Club:
Just a reminder that your cards are due by Monday, April 20th. Please turn them in to Mrs. Lindberg as soon as they are done.
Music Festival Queen Pageant:
Information forms for the annual Geneseo Music Festival Queen Pageant are available in the Front Office. The Geneseo Rotary-sponsored pageant is Friday, June 19, in City Park, and the pageant is open to Geneseo High School graduating seniors. Scholarships from the Rotary Club will be awarded to the Queen and four runners-up. Forms will be accepted in the GHS Front Office through Friday, May 22.
Student Council President Petitions:
Petitions for the 2026-27 Student Council President are now available. Candidates must be a current Junior with one year of Student Council experience. Candidates must acquire 50 signatures and petitions are due today. Depending on the number of candidates, there will be time to campaign followed by an All-School election. See Mrs. Laingen in Room 19 or Mrs. Brewer in Room 26 to pick up a petition.
Journalism Club:
Journalism Club will meet today at 3:00 in Mrs. Ritchie’s room. We will be taking our yearbook photo - please make plans to attend.
Silver Cord Opportunity – GMS Grounds Day:
There is an opportunity to earn Silver Cord hours at GMS on Saturday, April 18th. Help at GMS Grounds Day from 9:00 a.m. – Noon. Stay as long as you can. Donuts, pizza, and water will be provided to volunteers. See the flyer on the Announcements Bulletin Board in the Main Hall for more information.
