Student Leadership Week:
This week, April 20 to 24 is National Student Leadership Week. Thank you to all student leaders who are committed to making our school community a better place. Journalism Club:

Workshop Opportunity:
Are you looking to enhance your mental and physical performance in your sport and activities? Join us for a night of fellowship, community, and growth on May 18th from 6 to 8 pm in the GFAC. Delivered is hosting a workshop open to athletes, students, coaches, and teachers centered on mental health, performance, identity, and purpose. You'll learn practical tools to build confidence, manage pressure, and perform your best when it matters most--whether in competition, practice, off-season, or in-season. Open to all athletes, students, coaches, and teachers--come grow, connect, boost your performance, and take a step toward becoming your best. College Athletic Signing Day:
If you are a senior interested in participating in the College Athletic Signing Day, please stop by the Athletic Office to sign up. Signing Day is April 27th and 28th during WIN. Stop by the Athletic Office for any questions.
Music Festival Queen Pageant:
Information forms for the annual Geneseo Music Festival Queen Pageant are available in the Front Office. The Geneseo Rotary-sponsored pageant is Friday, June 19, in City Park, and the pageant is open to Geneseo High School graduating seniors. Scholarships from the Rotary Club will be awarded to the Queen and four runners-up. Forms will be accepted in the GHS Front Office through Friday, May 22.
GMS Grounds Day Update:
The new date is Saturday, May 2nd from 9:00 a.m. - Noon at the middle school. Silver Cord hours will still be offered to students that participate.
Attention Seniors:
The deadline for your parents to submit baby photos for the senior slideshow has been extended. Let your parents know if they haven’t already emailed a baby photo to please email one by Thursday, April 23. Photos can be emailed to Kris VanVooren kvanvooren@geneseoschools.org. Additional information and directions can be found on the last page of the Senior Important Dates information that was emailed to families and on the GHS website under Senior Dates.
Silver Cord Opportunity – Park District:
Volunteer opportunities with the Geneseo Park District are listed on the Announcements Board in the hall outside the Front Office.
