Dance Marathon:
Applications to be a Dance Marathon Captain for the 26-27 school year are now live! You may scan the QR code posted on the Dance Marathon bulletin board in the hallway between the athletic office and the art classrooms. Looking for energetic and committed students wanting to help kids and families smile and find JOY while going through tough life situations. Apply before May 11 to become part of the team!!!
Class Officer Petitions:
Attention Current Freshman, Sophomores and Juniors: Would you like to be your Class President, Vice-President, Secretary or Treasurer for the 2026-27 school year? Class Officer petitions are now available. Pick one up from Mrs. Laingen in Room 19 or from Mrs. Brewer in Room 26. All petitions need 25 signatures, a signed contract and must be returned by Thursday, May 7. Candidates will be placed on a ballot for a class election. Class officers are members of the Student Council and are expected to fulfill all membership duties.
Foreign Language Club:
Our final meeting of the year will be today at 3:00 pm in room 3. Remember, we will be taking our yearbook photo at that time, so please arrive on time. If you cannot stay for the whole meeting, please still plan to come for the yearbook photo. If you are staying for the whole meeting, please bring a snack to share with everyone! Hope to see you there! It's been a great year!
Volleyball:
Attention Returning Volleyball players - there will be a meeting on Thursday, May 7th at 8:15 am in the Theatre. Coach McAvoy will meet you there.
Silver Cord Opportunity – Rotary:
Rotary is looking for students to help with a 4-mile race on Saturday, June 20th. Students would help with race setup and also work at intersections, directing traffic with another adult Rotarian. Music Festival Queen Pageant:
Information forms for the annual Geneseo Music Festival Queen Pageant are available in the Front Office. The Geneseo Rotary-sponsored pageant is Friday, June 19 in City Park, and the pageant is open to Geneseo High School graduating seniors. Scholarships from the Rotary Club will be awarded to the Queen and four runners-up. Forms will be accepted in the GHS Front Office through Friday, May 22.
Workshop Opportunity:
