Homecoming Tickets:
The Mardi Gras Homecoming Dance will be held Saturday, September 12 from 7:00-10:00 p.m. in the big gym. Tickets will be on sale beginning Friday, September 4 and also on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 8 and 9, before school. All tickets are $10 each and guests must have an advance ticket. Tickets for GHS students will also be sold at the door.
Homecoming Spirit Week Dress-Up Days September 8-11:
Monday - No School
Tuesday, September 8 – Jersey Day
Wednesday, September 9 – Country vs. Country Club
Thursday, September 10 – Generation Day
Seniors dress as Senior Citizens
Juniors dress as Middle Schoolers
Sophomores dress as Toddlers
Freshmen dress as Babies
Friday, September 11 – Spirit Day, Green/White, Team - Club Day

Junior Class Float:
The Junior Class will be having a float planning meeting on Wednesday, September 2, in Room 19 (upstairs) at 7:40 a.m. We want your Mardi Gras ideas, come help us plan our Homecoming float.
Coffee Corner:
Coffee Corner will be open on Wednesday at 7:35 a.m. All drinks are $2.00
Freshmen Bootcamp:
All Freshmen WIN classes will attend Freshmen Bootcamp with the counselors Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Freshmen need to report to their WIN classroom first for attendance and then your teacher will take you as a class to the Theatre.
The BRIDGE:
Are you interested in planning activities for the school about inclusion and respect? See Mrs. Easley or scan a flyer for the Bridge - Building Relationships for Inclusion, Diversity, and Growth in Education, a new activity this year at GHS! The deadline to apply this semester is Friday, September 4th! Get your application in today!
Bowling:
Students who missed signing up for girls or boys bowling can still sign up at open gyms. Open Gyms are September 2nd and 9th from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.
Wraps at Lunch:
Wraps will be returning on Wednesday, September 2. They will be on the Deli line on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
