STRIVE Meeting:
Seniors, if you received an invitation to the STRIVE scholarship informational meeting, this will be today during WIN. Please check in with your WIN teacher first and then head to the Theatre.
Travel Abroad Trip:
Who loves a good adventure? Join us as we travel to London, Paris, and Dublin in June of 2027! If you have any interest in this trip of a lifetime, stop and see Mrs. Litton in Room 20. Enrollment is open and discounted until October 1st. The cost of the trip will increase after October 1st, so see Mrs. Litton ASAP for more information.
Speech Team:
If you are somebody who is interested in acting or public speaking, then this competitive IHSA activity is for you. GHS Speech Team will be starting in October, but you can stop by the library from 3:15 to 3:45 today or Thursday to learn how Speech Team works. See coaches Mrs. Brucher or Mrs. Ritchie if you would like to learn more but are unable to attend either day.
Foreign Language Club:
Our next meeting is this Wednesday, September 16th in room 3 at 3:00 p.m. We will be learning about Mexico's Independence Day, as well as Hispanic Heritage Month. Please bring a snack to share with the group. Hope to see you there!
College Visits:
The University of Northern Iowa will be visiting Geneseo High School today during 6th period. Please remember to sign up before the visit in the Counseling Office.
On Wednesday, September 16th, Iowa State University will be visiting Geneseo High School during 7th period, and on Thursday, September 17th, Bradley University and Coe College will be visiting Geneseo High School during 6th & 7th period. If you are interested in meeting with Iowa State University, Bradley University or Coe College, please visit the Counseling Office for more details and to sign up. You must sign up before to obtain a pass, and confirm the visit will be taking place.
