Candy Drive:
Good Morning Geneseo High School! Geneseo FFA Chapter is hosting a Candy Drive for their 2nd Annual Haunt the Halls event! Next week, October 12th through the 15th, we will be collecting candy donations for our upcoming “Haunt the Halls” FFA activity on October 30th.
We encourage you all to participate by bringing candy donations during your first hour to help make this event a success. The first hour class that brings in the most candy donations (by weight) will win donuts and cinnamon rolls for the entire class!
Please help us make Haunt the Halls fun and memorable for everyone. Thank you for supporting Geneseo FFA and our community outreach event!!
Trades Interest Group:
Join us for Trades Interest Group starting Friday, October 9th. Each Friday this group will have speakers from local Companies, Unions, and Technical Colleges to speak about their positions and programs. If you come to at least 3 of the meetings, you will qualify for a field trip to Local 25 Training Facility. See Mrs. Lavine in the Counseling Office if you would like to sign up. All grades are welcome.
Loras College Visit:
On Monday, October 12th, Loras College will be visiting Geneseo High School during 6th period. If you are interested in meeting with Loras College, please visit the Counseling Office for more details and to sign up. You must sign up before to obtain a pass, and confirm the visit will be taking place.
Silver Cord Opportunity – Food Pantry:
Need Silver Cord hours? Volunteer at the Geneseo-Atkinson Food Pantry on Mondays from 4:00-7:00. Call the Food Pantry at 944-3165 or email geneseopantry1@gmail.com if you're interested.
