Candy Drive:
The Geneseo FFA Chapter is hosting a Candy Drive for their 2nd Annual Haunt the Halls event! This week we are collecting candy donations for our upcoming “Haunt the Halls” FFA activity on October 30th.
We encourage you all to participate by bringing candy donations during your first hour to help make this event a success. The first hour class that brings in the most candy donations (by weight) will win donuts and cinnamon rolls for the entire class!
Please help us make Haunt the Halls fun and memorable for everyone. Thank you for supporting Geneseo FFA and our community outreach event!!
Girls Wrestling Parent Meeting:
Attention all girls interested in joining the high school Girls Wrestling team! A parent/guardian meeting will be held today at 6:30 P.M. Any girl interested in wrestling this season must have a parent or guardian attend. We will review expectations, important information, and details for the upcoming season, which begins Monday, October 26th. We look forward to seeing you there and getting ready for an exciting season!
St. Ambrose University Visit:
On Thursday, October 15th, St. Ambrose University will be visiting Geneseo High School during 6th period. If you are interested in meeting with St. Ambrose University, please visit the Counseling Office for more details and to sign up. You must sign up before to obtain a pass, and confirm the visit will be taking place.
Silver Cord Opportunity – Pines and Pumpkins:
Whispering Pines Events and Lodging in Geneseo is looking for volunteers for their Pines and Pumpkins event on Saturday, October 17th from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. They are looking for volunteers for face painting, parking lot help, watching the carnival games and giving out prizes, watching the pumpkin carving and bounce houses.
