Donate to Healing Waters International:

Attention all students: Did you know that water is essential to life and therefore all people should have access to safe, clean, affordable water, no matter where they are and no matter who they are? Spanish 3 students will be collecting spare change this week to donate to Healing Waters International, a program that helps provide clean water to countries around the world! They hope to collect change to make a change. Please donate your spare change today and help save lives!

 

Local 25 Plumbers and Pipefitters WIN Presentation:

Local 25 Plumbers and Pipefitters will be presenting in the Concert Hall today. If you are interested in hearing about career opportunities through Local 25, check in with your WIN teacher and head down to the Concert Hall.


Student Parking:

Senior, Junior, & Sophomore students may purchase parking stickers at the end of their school day from 2:10 to 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.  Sophomore students, please have your drivers license available to present.

Student parking is in the West lot from the 2nd row and back.  In the facility lot, you may not park in the 5 spots that face the school building.  Please also be aware that you may not park on the street on either side in front of the building or in the circle drive.  Parking is available on Ogden and across Ogden on State Street for students who have not purchased a student parking sticker and registered their vehicles.


Congratulations Scholastic Bowl:

The Varsity Scholastic Bowl team had a great showing at Bradley University this past Saturday. The team placed 4th, which earned the team prize money. Samuel McCleary earned a spot on the varsity all-tournament team, and Alex Belanger earned a spot on the JV all-tournament team. 


Congratulations FFA Trap Team:

Congratulations to the following that participated in the Invitational Trap Shoot! The Junior Varsity Team placed 1st, Varsity 1 also placed 1st and Varsity 2 was 4th. Also congratulations to Tyler that was the top JV individual.


Foreign Language Club Meeting:

Attention Foreign Language Club Members: Our next meeting is Monday, November 14th, at 3:00 p.m. in room 3. We will be having a short Filipino lesson. Bring a friend and hope to see you there!

 

Environmental Club Meeting:

The next Environmental Club meeting will be Tuesday, November 15th before school at 7:30 a.m. in room 39.


WIN-ter Warm Gear Drive: 

Collect new hats, mittens, scarves, gloves, and socks to add to your WIN class’s donation box.  The WIN class that collects the most items will earn the heartwarming feeling of giving.  It’s a WIN-WIN.  The drive will run through November 16.
