Donate to Healing Waters International:

Attention all students: Did you know that just $25 can provide clean water for life to a person living in Central America? This week, the Spanish 3 students are collecting spare change to donate to Healing Waters International. They hope to collect change to make a change. Please donate your spare change this week and help save lives!


Tabletop Games Club:

Tabletop Games Club will still be meeting on Wednesday even though it is early out.  Tabletop Games Club will be meeting in front of the school at 11:30 and will then walk over to the public library for the meeting.


Psychology Club Meeting:

There will be a Psychology Club meeting during 7th period in Mrs. Anton's room, and there will be a meeting at 3:00 p.m. in Mrs. Snook's room.

 

Silver Cord Volunteer Opportunities:

Southwest Elementary is putting on a Holiday Shop on Saturday, December 3rd and is looking for volunteers.  The shop is where kids are able to shop on their own in the Southwest cafeteria, all items are from .50 - $12 so they are able to buy gifts for the whole family.  You can volunteer as a cashier, personal shopper, or gift wrapper.  Please use the link below to sign up if you are interested.

 The Quad City Arts Festival of Trees is in need of volunteers to help in the Reindeer Games area.  Reindeer games is so much fun and so popular with their patrons.  Please use the link below to sign up if you are interested.

Student Parking:

Senior, Junior, & Sophomore students may purchase parking stickers at the end of their school day from 2:10 to 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.  Sophomore students, please have your drivers license available to present.

Student parking is in the West lot from the 2nd row and back.  In the facility lot, you may not park in the 5 spots that face the school building.  Please also be aware that you may not park on the street on either side in front of the building or in the circle drive.  Parking is available on Ogden and across Ogden on State Street for students who have not purchased a student parking sticker and registered their vehicles.


WIN-ter Warm Gear Drive: 

Collect new hats, mittens, scarves, gloves, and socks to add to your WIN class’s donation box.  The WIN class that collects the most items will earn the heartwarming feeling of giving.  It’s a WIN-WIN.  The drive will run through November 16.
