Door Decorating Contest:
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and time to “Deck the Halls” with a Door Decorating Contest. Each WIN class will decorate their classroom door. Senior WIN classes will combine and find a place in the Commons or Cafeteria wall to decorate. The decorating may begin NOW and be completed by Monday, December 12. Judging will be held on Thursday, December 15. Be creative, be festive, use lights and/or music, and have fun.
Foster Hope Sibling Shopping Event:
If you would like to volunteer at Foster Hope in Atkinson this Saturday for their Sibling Shopping event, please check out the link below. All volunteers can receive Silver Cord hours.

Attention All Junior & Senior Boys:
The Maplettes are still looking for 4 more participants for Manplettes. Round up your friends to learn and perform a dance at one of the January basketball games. If you are interested or have any questions, contact representatives Taylor Davis, Laney Dunker, Mr. Hall, or Mr. Harrington. Sign up today!
Tabletop Games Club:
There will be Tabletop Games Club on Wednesday after school in Mrs. Davidson’s room, room 10.
Luminary Volunteers Needed:
Do you love the luminaries that are a part of the Geneseo Christmas Walk? The Geneseo Christmas Walk Committee is looking for volunteers to light the luminaries prior to the lighted parade on Saturday, December 10th. We will start lighting them at 4 p.m. at the City Park. If we have enough volunteers it should not take too long.
If you'd be interested in helping light the luminaries, come and join in on the fun! It would help a great deal if you brought your own trigger lighter. This would be a great way to earn Silver Cord hours.

Dance Marathon:
Dance Marathon is back! GHS DM2 will take place on March 4th, 2023. Mark your calendars and get ready for some fundraising fun! For our first event of the year, there will be a Dodgeball Tournament on December 20th from 7-9 PM in the Main Gym. Interested in playing? Stop by Mr. Kelly’s Room (Room 28) to pick up a form. Teams will consist of 6 players and it will cost $30 per team, all proceeds go to DM2! Forms are due on the 9th, back to Mr. Kelly in Room 28. Not interested in playing? Come and join us for the fun still! It is $1 or a free will donation for admission. Let’s blast DM2 out of this world GHS!
