Dear Millikin Parents and Students,
It’s hard to believe we are already approaching the end of the first quarter and that Parent-Teacher Conferences are just around the corner! We look forward to these important conversations; our teachers are eager to share the growth and learning they have seen during the first two months of school. Please plan on attending conferences. If you have any questions about the time you signed up for, reach out directly to your child’s teacher.
Below, I would also encourage you to read about LEAFS. LEAFS is an acronym that our elementary teams have developed. The goal behind LEAFS is to use common language to teach and assess on learning behaviors that are necessary to be a productive student and citizen. Classroom teachers will be sharing more about LEAFS during parent-teacher conferences.
Thank you for your ongoing support of our school and your child’s education. We can’t wait to see you at conferences in just a couple of weeks!
Sincerely,
Philip Moe
Millikin Principal
