The Geneseo High School Performing Arts Center is set to come alive this month as students present their spring musical production of the beloved classic, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
The high-energy show, known for its eclectic musical styles ranging from country to calypso, tells the vibrant biblical story of Joseph, his eleven brothers, and his journey of faith and forgiveness.
“This is a very old story with a very modern telling,” said the musical's director, Joe DePauw. "It is a very entertaining show with a nice variety of types of music The cast has spent many hours learning the music and dances, and will be ready to share their talents with their audiences.”

Fans of musical theater have four opportunities to catch the production later this month. Performances are scheduled for the following dates:
Thursday, April 23, 2026 (6 p.m.)
Friday, April 24, 2026 (7 p.m.)
Saturday, April 25, 2026 (7 p.m.)
Sunday, April 26, 2026 (3 p.m.)
All performances will be held at the Geneseo High School Performing Arts Center Theater, located at 700 N. State Street.
