Builders Club will meet tomorrow in the Large Group Room at 7:40

Tomorrow is the homecoming parade and game. Show your spirit by wearing your best Geneseo, green and white, or Green Machine gear!

Next week is Right to Read Week. To celebrate, the GMS library will hold a Teen Read Cafe before school on Wednesday, Oct. 4. Since we only have space for a limited number of people, students must stop in the library to pick up a free ticket ahead of time in order to participate. See Mrs. Brucher or Mrs. Sager if you have questions.

The 7th grade whites volleyball team traveled to Sterling last night and played hard, but unfortunately came away with a loss. Top servers were Jocelyn Bagby, Ashlynn Chamberlain, and Payton Riffe!

The 8th grade Whites volleyball team beat Sterling Wednesday night in 3 games!! Top server was Alaina Frank! 

Last night the XC team competed in their final regular season meet of the season. It was a beautiful night with the majority of the team ending their season with PR’s!! The girls' varsity team came away as the Conference Champions by almost 30 points! Medaling for the girls varsity team were Alivia Brown (7th), Evy DeBaene (6th), & Charlize Wachtel (2nd). The boys varsity team finished as the Conference Runner-Ups behind Wilson. Medaling for the variety boys were Micah Nicke (3rd) & Kael McCord (8th). In the boys open race, Greyson Claerhout placed 5th, Mark Shoemaker placed 8th, and Kais Sproston placed 9th.  Congratulations to all runners on an amazing season! The Top 10 runners will compete next Friday at Richmond Hill for the Sectional Meet! Come out and cheer on your cross country team at home!!

Attention NFL Pick Em: What was the highlight of your NFL weekend? Seeing the Cowboys lose? Packers roaring back down 17? Mahomes dominating the Bears? The Dolphins putting up a record 70 points! For Kura Henson and Leo Woodruff their highlight was scoring 108 points and winning Week 3. Congrats Kura and Leo. In the overall season standings, the prize that wins a free lunch is Lillian Fritz out in front with 284 points. Week 4 Picks are due by the end of the day today. Good luck.

Attention 7th and 8th grade boys interested in GMS basketball: On Wednesday, you signed up for basketball in PE and health classes. If you missed that sign up or decided you want to go out, please see Mr. Monier. If signed up but have changed your mind, please see Mr. Monier. In the locker room is our tentative beginning of the year schedule (please read that entire sheet). A full schedule will be given once basketball starts. In addition, there is a sheet with everyone who has signed up with their status of their sports physical showing whether you are Good, if your physical will expire during the season, or no, you don't have one turned in yet and can't practice until you do.
