Do you want to play Dungeons and Dragons but you don’t know where to start? Then you should join the GMS D&D club. We play every Friday at 7am in the 7th grade hallway in Room 709.  All are welcome to join. Please see Mrs. VanOpdorp with any questions.

8th grade students interested in receiving information about a trip to Washington DC sponsored by World Strides may pick up a flier at the office window.

Attention NFL Pick Em: It was another exciting week of NFL games with several going to overtime. Congratulations to Mr. Verner. He is our Week 4 champ after scoring 129 points. Congrats to James Sutherland for finishing 2nd with 119 points. Overall, the team of Tommy Gaskey, Bennett Holke, Easton Veloz, Carter Robb, Noah Tully, and Braeden York have a narrow lead on the rest of the competition. To everyone, at this point, this no more joining or adding to existing teams. You can start a new team with 0 points but there is no more joining forces. Week 5 picks are due by the end of the day today. Good luck.

Attention 7th and 8th grade boys basketball players: If you signed up or are interested in signing up, we will have a short meeting on Tuesday morning, October 10th from 8:00-8:10 in the large gym. We will pass out the early season schedule, review what to bring to the following Monday's first practice, and update you on the status of your sports physicals. Reminder, you can't practice until you have one turned into the office. If you have questions, please see Mr. Monier. See you Tuesday morning at 8:00.

Tomorrow, the cross country team will compete in the IESA Sectional meet on their home course at Richmond Hill.  The girls race starts at 3:30 and the boys race starts at 4:15.  The teams are hoping to run some personal bests and qualify as a team to compete at the State meet.  Please come out and cheer on the cross country team as they vie for a chance to run at State!

Come out and cheer for the GMS Volleyball team today after school.
