Even though the colder weather is here, students will be going outside for recess each day, unless the temperature is below 10 degrees. Don’t forget to bring your coat with you to lunch.
Chess club is upon us once again GMS!! All are welcome! If you enjoy playing chess or have never played before, come to learn about pawns, bishops, and those tricky knights. If you’re interested, there will be an informational meeting after school in the library on Monday, November 6th. If you are unable to attend please contact Mr. Verner in room 606.
Attention Hoops Fans: The Eagle Ridge Eagles flew into town last night to take on our Maple Leafs. The 7th grade game was back and forth and GMS pulled off the 23-21, talon biting victory (do you get it, instead of nail biting, I said "talon biting"). However, the 8th grade Eagles were able to sharpen their talons and they escaped GMS with a double digit victory. We have home games Monday and Thursday next week. See you there.
