Mrs. Plant's 8th graders have been working on using sensory details in what Mrs. Plant calls the Three Word Challenge. Students have been voting each day to choose the best three words used to describe: Candy Corn.  It's been a tough few rounds of Mrs. Plant's Three Word Challenge including a tie and an overall, tough bracket. After two rounds of competition, we have our final two competitors advancing to the final round. From period 6, Ella Clementz with, "multi-colored, sweet, small" and coming from period 2,  Nolan Burton with, "waxy, sugary, mountain." Tune in tomorrow to find out who will end up on top reigning as the first ever Three Word Challenge Champion!

Attention Hoops Fans: Our 7B's traveled to Rock Island to take on the Jordan Jaguars. The Jaguars started off strong and jumped out to a big halftime lead. But our Leafs kept fighting and sent the Jaguars to early hibernation by outscoring them 14-9 in the 2nd half. We fell  34-15. Our 7 and 8 B's take on the Hampton Hawks here at home tonight. See you there!
