Don’t forget: the GMS toy drive ends tomorrow.  We have a lot of families in need of some holiday cheer.  Bring brand new and unwrapped toys for kids of all ages and drop them off at the gym doors during the or from 3:30pm-7:30pm outside the west doors.

Have you purchased a GMS yearbook yet this school year? Place your order now by picking up an order form in the office, or ordering online through your Skyward account.

The GMS Builders Club is hosting a winter clothing and food drive this month.  The homeroom with the most collected items will win a donut party.

Attention 6th Grade Pick Em: Congratulations to the team of Maddux Kennedy and Drew Parrish. Despite the big Chiefs and Jaguars upset, they scored 103 to beat the field of competition. Mrs. Henderson is still hanging onto the overall lead. Can anyone chase her down? Picks are due by the end of the day today. Good luck!

The 6th Grade National League All-star lineup for October is: Grant Dietsch, Cameron Doyle, JR Guerrero, Addy Havill, Charli Janczak, Matthew Mullins, Tessa Reveal, Emma Schneider, Aubrey Skinner, and Henry Woodward.  Your teachers thank you for your hard work, respect, and responsibility this month

Attention Hoops Fans: Our A's hosted the Wilson Wildcats from Moline last night and they were plenty wild. Both the 7th and 8th grade Wildcats proved to be ferocious winning both games. But guess who the two wildest wild cards, or I mean Wildcats were? The game was supposed to tip off at 4:00. But there were no referees. So we couldn't play. However, our very own Mr. Reed and Mr. Johnson stepped in to help officiate the games. They definitely earned their zebra stripes! So if you see Mr. Reed icing his knees, or Mr. Johnson icing his hips today, you know why. So GMS student body, please be extra good to those two today! Also, our 7th grade A and B teams will be playing in the Geneseo shootout tomorrow at the GFAC from 9:00-3:00. Good luck guys.

Attention Readers: The Caudill deadline is exactly two months away. There is still plenty of time to finish or even start reading and responding to books to earn your right to vote at this year's Caudill party. Stop in the library and check out a book for your break!

Snowmen on Parade are due today. Please make sure your homeroom teacher is written on the back of your snowman before you bring it to the library. Next week students can vote for their favorite designs with money during lunches.

There are no band or choir assessments today. 7th and 8th grade band students: Please be sure to take your instrument, music, and concert uniform home today if you have not done so already. See you Sunday for our concert!

All PE classes will be going outside today so remember to bring your jacket with you to class
