Attention 6th Graders: This Friday is March 1st. With March, comes March Madness! So what do you say about having our own madness in 6th grade! We will begin Contig Club next Wednesday, March 6th. We will meet in Mrs. Wagner’s room. For Contig Club, we will have two divisions. One division will be "just for fun." Anyone can come and play at their own speed against anyone else there just for fun. The second division is where the Madness will be! We will make a single-elimination bracket and play one round one week at a time. If you would like to enter a team in the bracket, you need to write your team name of one, two, three or maximum of four members on a loose-leaf and everyone's first and last name that is on that team. You can only be on one team. This is due by the end of the day Friday. When you come back to school Monday, the bracket and your opponent will be listed. Then the Madness will begin Wednesday at 7:40. We will play 8 rounds in a game and you will only have 30 seconds to make your move. If you have any questions please ask Mrs. Henderson or Mr. Monier.

We are just under 2 weeks away until the On the Same Page Escape Room event. Put Tuesday, March 12 on your calendar if you and your family would like to join us for a night of puzzles inspired by this year's book City Spies. Stop in the library for more information.

Attention Middle School Track and Field pole vaulters.  There is an open pit for pole vault on Wednesday night from 5:00 - 6:45.

There were MANY correct answers to last week’s challenge puzzles, with sixth graders dominating the answer box. Congratulations to these lucky students whose names were drawn: Jaela Minnaert, Rosella Wentz, Gabe Taylor, Ryker Vincent, and Will Ehlert. Also, a shout out to Officer Amber for also accurately completing last week’s puzzles! Please go to Mrs. Wagner’s room to choose a prize after announcements.

Attention Hoops Fans: Well, it was an eventful weather night last night. Our 7's were raining more shots than the visiting Washington Warriors were and our 7's won 21-16. But then the weather decided to get eventful and was blowing our leafs around. Just before halftime, we had a tornado warning and took shelter in the locker room. Our 8's worked on mastering their skills playing Green Glass Door and pictionary during the delay before taking the floor for a shortened 2nd half after the weather settled down. Our Leafs were able to settle down and may have lost the game but they won the 4th quarter. Our A's head to Seton tonight to take on the Chargers and hopefully there will be a power outage for Seton! Good luck Leafs!
