Attention 6th Graders: This Friday is March 1st. With March, comes March Madness! So what do you say about having our own madness in 6th grade! We will begin Contig Club next Wednesday, March 6th. We will meet in Mrs. Wagner’s room. For Contig Club, we will have two divisions. One division will be "just for fun." Anyone can come and play at their own speed against anyone else there just for fun. The second division is where the Madness will be! We will make a single-elimination bracket and play one round one week at a time. If you would like to enter a team in the bracket, you need to write your team name of one, two, three or maximum of four members on a loose-leaf and everyone's first and last name that is on that team. You can only be on one team. This is due by the end of the day Friday. When you come back to school Monday, the bracket and your opponent will be listed. Then the Madness will begin Wednesday at 7:40. We will play 8 rounds in a game and you will only have 30 seconds to make your move. If you have any questions please ask Mrs. Henderson or Mr. Monier.

We are just under 2 weeks away until the On the Same Page Escape Room event. Put Tuesday, March 12 on your calendar if you and your family would like to join us for a night of puzzles inspired by this year's book City Spies. Stop in the library for more information.

Attention Hoops Fans: Our Lady Leafs traveled to Rock Island to take on the Seton Chargers last night. There was no tornado warning or weather delay but our Leafs definitely caused a power outage for the home Chargers! 7's played a stellar defensive game and got contributions from everyone on the roster in a solid 25-12 road victory. Our 8's, as usual, put the clamps defensively on the opponent and shared the ball well to find their way to a Leaf victory. Good luck tonight to all of our Leafs as the B's will be at home for their finale as the A's travel to Glenview for their finale. Go get em Leafs!

The 6th and 7th grade Scholastic Bowl team defeated Alwood last night with a final score of 190-95. The 8th grade Scholastic Bowl team also beat Alwood 185-125. Congrats to both teams on a great season! We’d like to give a 'shout out’ on a job well done to our 8th grade Scholastic Bowl leaders….Carter French, Cat Meis, Evelyn Gernant, Jacey Gehl, Jasmine Foss, Lydia Carton, Madelyn Holmes, Meghan Scheider, Nicole Werling, Tivya Bernier, and Gretchen Fuelling!

Any 11 year old girl interested in participating in the Little Miss Geneseo Music Fest Pageant may pick up a registration form at the office window.
