Any 11 year old girl interested in participating in the Little Miss Geneseo Music Fest Pageant may pick up a registration form at the office window.

The 6th Grade American League All-star lineup selected for February is: Delia Bellagamba, Gio Escobar, Audreyana Grove, Elijah Melton, Kami Nordstrom, Kenryk Osborn, Rykken Schweitzer, and Reese Shannon.  Your teachers thank you for your hard work, respect, and responsibility this month

Congratulations to our February Student Athletes of the month: Faith Kuster and James Seals

Your coaches and teachers recognize all your hard work and effort on the team and in class! Everyone at GMS is proud of you!  Way to go!

Attention Mr. Pardoe, our middle school athletic director, and Miss Wendy: The 7th grade girls basketball team has given you two some extra work to do, but we think you will enjoy this kind of work! The 7A girls finished the conference season with a sizzling 13-1 record! They were crowned conference champions and will now be joining some elite company! Their team plaque will now join the other GMS champions hanging on the ‘Wall of Champions’ outside the gym. There has only been ONE other 7th grade girls basketball team champion and three girls basketball champions in total on the wall.  The last girls conference champions were crowned back in 2006, almost 20 years ago! This year’s team will be the 2nd 7th grade team ever and the 4th ever girls basketball team. Congratulations girls. You each played a crucial role earning this special accomplishment. In the game of basketball there are many ways to impact WINNING. Your positive attitudes, hard work, and togetherness earned you this accomplishment and it can’t be taken away from you. Stay hungry! And let’s see if you can hang another one next year! We know Mr. Pardoe will order a nice plaque and we definitely know Miss Wendy will find the perfect spot for it! Thank you.

The GMS yearbook staff will meet on Tuesday, March 5th after school until 4:30pm.  Please let an advisor know if you cannot attend.

Congratulations to the following 8th grade House 1 S.T.R.I.P.E.S award winners for the month of March: Lillian Bellagamba, Vance Hansen, Greyson Claerhout.  These students display qualities of service, tenacity, respect, involvement, perseverance, enthusiasm, and spirit. Your teachers appreciate your efforts to continuously display these qualities. Keep up the GRRREAT work!

Surf into breakfast this week and enjoy some hang time with your friends and try some new breakfast entrees.  Hop on your boogie board and see who will be helping Miss Raschel and Miss Bonnie serve.
