Help beautify GMS by volunteering some time for Grounds Day. It’s this Saturday from 9:00 am to noon. Plan to bring gloves, wheelbarrows, rakes, etc if you have them. Donuts and water will be provided for breakfast and Mr O'Dell buys pizza lunch.
The following students are last week’s lucky prize winners for the challenge puzzles: 6th grader Sophia Gluck - Kart Racing logic puzzle, 7th graders Alex Balensiefen - blue sudoku and Tad Moore - pink Skittles puzzle, 8th grader Luca Turigliatti green sudoku, and the SOLO correct answer to the yellow Missing One numbers puzzle was 7th grader Alec Woods. Congratulations! Please stop by Mrs. Wagner’s room after announcements to pick out a prize. Any 8th grade girl interested in trying out for High School Maplettes should pick up an information packet at the middle school office window.
Attention Contg Club: We are excited to begin our second Contig Tournament this Wednesday in Mrs. Wagner's room starting at 7:40. There's several of you that are excited as well as we have 21 teams signed up. To make Wednesday go smoother, please check the bulletin board to see who your team plays and who the players are on that team. Some of you have a first round bye so you can still come and play 'just for fun' if you would like, as well as other 6th graders who don't have a team. See you Wednesday!
Tonight is the only night the Book Fair is open outside of school hours. Bring your families between 6 and 7:30. Remember that some of the young adult titles are only available during evening shopping hours.
