Any 8th grade girl interested in trying out for High School Maplettes should pick up an information packet at the middle school office window.

Attention Contig Club: We had an exciting first round last week, including an overtime game! We have 13 teams left in our tournament and will play the next round tomorrow at 7:40 in Mrs. Wagner's room. Please check the bulletin board to see what team you are playing and look to see who is on that time to make it easier to get organized Wednesday morning. Others are welcome to come and watch or play just for fun. See you Wednesday!
We are still looking for current 6th and 7th graders to join the On the Same Page reading team and choose next year's community-wide read. Our next meeting is in the library before school tomorrow if you would like to learn more.
Congratulations to the GMS track and field team on a great performance last night in their meet against Edison and Washington. The 7th grade girls, 7th grade boys, 8th grade girls and 8th grade boys all won their divisions. In addition, Jett Znamenacek,tied the 7th grade boys 100 meter dash school record with a time of 11.88 seconds! The boys team next competes tomorrow at the Moline Invite.
All discipline time must be served before attending the middle school dance Friday night. Report to room 801 before school starting at 7:40 am or after school in room 704 at 3:10 pm.
