The GMS On the Same Page Reading Team is looking to recruit more readers to help select this year's community-wide read book. Any 6th, 7th, or 8th graders are welcome to attend. Come to our first meeting at 7:40 a.m. in the library before school on Wednesday, August 28 to learn more.

The 7th grade Whites volleyball team battled hard in their first game at Prophetstown last night, but unfortunately came away with a loss. The girls had some great plays and worked hard, and are looking forward to their next game at home on September 4th. Come cheer them on!
Last night didn't go as we had hoped, but the 7th grade Greens learned alot about each other and the areas we can work on as a team to make the season result in some big wins! Come cheer us on Thursday at Sterling if you can convince your parents to drive you there!
Great job to the 8th grade greens volleyball team for winning their first season home match! Charley Courson led the team in attacks with a total of 4. Karoline Hasson, Charlee Bruce, and Suzie Neumann followed each with 3. Emma Hofer led the team with 13 total aces. Congrats girls!
The 8th grade Whites volleyball team traveled to Prophetstown last night for their first games of the season. The girls put on a strong performance, winning 3 out of 4 games. Brenna Dykstra recorded 5 aces, while Payton Brodie and Emma Minnaert each contributed 4. Brenna Dykstra led the team with 10 attacks at the net, followed by Brynn Kinney with 7. The Whites' next game will be at home on September 4th.
The 8th grade football team is looking for managers. If any 8th graders are interested, talk to Mr. Mathew in room 712 today for more information.
