Attention Hoops Fans: It was a busy night for our Lady Leafs. Our B teams went to Sterling to face the Golder Warriors. Our 7Bs had some golden defense but came up short in a tightly contested game. Our 8Bs were the true road warriors as they came away with the nice road victory and great improvement. Also on the road were our A teams as they traveled to Glenview to take on the Gators. Our 7As had one of our toughest tests to date entering the 4th quarter with a 3 point lead. We knocked down our free throws and put the clamps on them defensively and escaped the Gator jaws with a 28-16 Lady Leaf victory. In 8A action, our Lady Leafs jumped out to a quick lead and never looked back cruising to a 30 point victory. Next up, our 8Bs are on the road tonight at Jordan. Good luck Lady Leafs.
Last night the wrestling team took on the Logan Wildcats. The Leafs would start slow and fall behind by 18. Then the Leafs would storm back to take a 6 point lead. The Wildcats would claw back but the Leafs would be too much and win the meet 52 to 36. The Leafs travel tonight to take on Edison.
