Attention 6th and 7th grade students: this is a reminder that your elective choice for next year is due this Friday
Attention 8th graders! Are you interested in joining FFA your Freshman year? Please stop by the office and pick up an information sheet.
Any 8th grader planning on playing a fall sport next year as a Freshman should plan on meeting with the high school fall coaches tomorrow before school at 7:45 am in the main gym. Important information for your sport will be presented so it will be important for you to be there. If you are unable to make the fall sports meeting next Thursday morning please contact Mr. Pardoe to get further information.
May is Mental Health Awareness month. Today’s tip is to take care of your physical health. Our physical health, which includes: our diet, sleep, and physical activity, all affect our mental health too. Take an honest look at your physical health and set a goal to improve one area of your physical health. With time, this will help your mental health as well.
Students who are attending College for Kids and need transportation are welcome to pick up a Pink's bus form in the counseling office.
Attention all MAP Accelerator class winners for the months of March and April, make sure to hold onto your coupon so you can redeem it this Friday during lunch. Popsicles will be ready for you as long as you have your coupon in hand. No one will be sent back to lockers if they forget them, so make sure you come prepared!
Hey GMS Students, We’re thrilled to announce that our first EVER MVP Celebration is happening TODAY during WIN. Homeroom teachers will be handing out MVP Celebration tickets today to students who have:
No tardies all year
No behavior referrals
No D’s, F’s, or grades of 1 or below
If you receive a ticket today—congratulations! You’re being recognized for consistently doing the right thing and setting a powerful example for others. We are proud to celebrate YOU!
Here’s what you need to know:
Show your ticket to your WIN teacher on Wednesday to be released
Keep your ticket—you’ll need it to show supervisors as you exit out the West gym doors to attend the event
We can’t wait to kick off this
first-ever MVP event
and celebrate the students who go above and beyond every day!
