Attention current 7th and 8th grade Boys basketball players: The freshmen basketball coach, Coach Jarron Nordstrom, would like to meet with you this Thursday morning at 7:45 in Coach Monier's room to share information on summer basketball opportunities. The Geneseo Library Writing Club is meeting this Tuesday at the Geneseo Library from 3:30-4:30. We will be sharing our writing and the play. Families are welcome to come to see the play at 4:00.

Congrats to the GMS track and field team on an awesome day Saturday at the IESA Sectional meet. Out of 16 teams competing, we won the 8th grade girls division, placed 2nd in the 7th grade girls and 7th grade boys divisions, and placed 3rd in the 8th grade boys division. We had amazing performances by all of our athletes, and everyone contributed to our team totals.
Congratulations to Mark Shoemaker for breaking the 8th grade boys long jump record with a leap of 19 feet and half of an inch!
