Congratulations to Zaiden Swan and Brody Hoener who competed at the BMX State championship this past weekend. Zaiden won the 12 expert and 12 Cruiser Illinois and Brody Hoener earned 2nd in 12 intermediate. Congratulations Zaiden and Brody.
Congratulations to the 7th Grade Whites Volleyball team on a win against Edison at home last night! The girls won in two sets and showed great teamwork! Top servers were Sophia Vroman with 3 aces, Aubrey DeGrave with 4, and Sam Minnaert who went on an amazing run with 10 aces! A special shoutout to Sam Minnaert and Sophia Vroman for some great attacks, and to Parker Wilcox-Smith and Aubrey DeGrave for some awesome assists and some perfectly placed tips! Great work to the whole team! :)
Today and tomorrow there will be a voting slip and a box in the cafeteria to name Miss Wendy's new vacuum. Only choose one name and put your slip in the box. Staff, there is a bucket in the teachers lounge if you would like to participate. The winning name will be put on the machine by Mr Eaker.
The library will NOT be open before school on Wednesday because of the Teen Read Cafe. Students who picked up Teen Read Cafe tickets are the only students who can go to the library before school on Wednesday.
