Attention 7th and 8th grade boys interested in playing GMS basketball. The season will be tipping off soon. It is not too late to sign up. We will have a meeting Wednesday morning to go over expectations and answer questions about the upcoming season. Please meet in the gym at 7:45 on Wednesday morning. If you can't make the meeting, please email or see Coach Monier. There are many of you still needing to turn in a sports physical to the office. Reminder, you can't practice until you have one turned in to the office. Go Leafs!

The 8th Grade Football Team traveled to Yorkville on Saturday for a doubleheader. They started slow in the first game and were down 28 to 0 early. They showed up to play after half time and made a big comeback, but they fell just short losing 28 to 22. It was all Geneseo in the second game. They had three long scoring drives and the defense played great. They won the second game 20 to 0. They play their final game of the season on Thursday against Galesburg at the high school.
Homecoming week continues. Team up with a friend tomorrow for Twin Day. Hats will NOT be allowed on Tuesday.
