Last night was the last game for the 8th grade Greens volleyball team. They traveled to Jordan and played a fantastic last game.. This season is one that you can't see on paper how amazing the group was together! So here's to a final Green Team Shout out: Lilah Ruby was a back row digging machine, Gwen Grimes placed her sets where they needed to be, Chuck Spindel guarded that back line with her life, Beau Bomley kept the spunk alive at the net, Savanna Desplinter with the softest sets, Hailynn Krider having cat like reflexes up at the net, Grace Feely with the go go gadget arms to reach all the balls, Remi Rahmus with the aggressiveness to pump up the team from anywhere on the court, Aaliyah Medina serving more aces than anyone in conference (not confirmed but probably true), Amelia Shannon knocking those kills down in front, Shae Robertson playing back row like a boss and Hallie Elmer tipping the ball to the good spots! Coach Miller thanks you ladies for a fun season and can't wait to watch you grow as players and humans!

The 8th grade Greens Volleyball team won against Jordan in an easy two sets. Alivia Gaines led the team with 8 aces, 4 kills, and two blocks. Aislyn Kane, Jocelyn Matthews, and Lilly Fritz each had 5 aces. Hattie Deaner and Ella Driskell each had 3 digs. Good luck at your green and white scrimmage at the high school on Monday!

The 8th grade football team played their final game last night against Galesburg. The guys' hard work all season long paid off as they played their best game of the year and won  24 to 6. The team had a great season and they should be really excited about their potential.
