Congrats to the 7th Grade October student of the month recipients. From House 7-1 Kate Vorac and Bennett Mickley. From House 7-2 Mia Marshall and Sully Jackson. Your teachers appreciate the positive attitude, kindness, and respect you have shown in the first few months of school. Keep it up!
Hey Hoops Fans! Your middle school classmates and 7th and 8th grade boys basketball have tipped off their season. On Saturday, our Maple Leafs hosted Erie-Prophetstown for a scrimmage. Last night, our B teams suited up for some real game action vs the Hampton Hawks. And boy, both games were nail biters! Our 7Bs came out ripping the nets and splashing 3s and came away with a home victory. 8Bs had a back-and-forth contest with baskets flying, defenses battling, and fans on the edge of their seats! But in the end, the Hawks swooped in and snatched the victory with a three point win. Both teams showed awesome teamwork, hustle, and energy showing a lot of promise for the year ahead. Tonight, our Bs are home again with 7th grade tipping off at 4:15 versus Colona in the "War on Wolf Road" rivalry. Come out and support your Leafs!
Red Ribbon Week continues with Zoom Interview Day on Wednesday so wear business on the top and casual attire on the bottom. Healthy living is serious business, but we can still have fun, too.
The winner of the Red Ribbon Week poster contest was Mr. Robertson's room. Congratulations!
