The Geneseo Library Writing Club, Writing Rocks, is meeting this Tuesday at the Geneseo Library from 3:30-4:30. Third-grade and up students are welcome! This month, we are going to work on creating characters, especially for the Desolation Motel!

Attention Hoops Fans: Our Maple Leafs had a busy night on the basketball courts. Here at home, our Bs hosted the Corem Dao Warriors and they proved to be pretty fierce. 7Bs hung with the Warriors in the first half but lost the battle in the end. 8Bs started off slow and then had a great 2nd quarter. Unfortunately, the second half was more like the first quarter than the second and the Warriors escaped GMS with two victories. On the road, our As traveled to John Deere. No, not the tractor place...but the John Deere Spartan Middle School. Both our 7A and 8A had convincing road wins showing John Deere who the REAL Spartans were. Our As will be at home on Monday. Speaking of those tractors, hopefully everyone can make it out to Bob Reade Field tomorrow to cheer on the Green Machine at the Quarterfinal Playoff game. Kickoff is at 2:00. Go Green Machine! Go Maple Leafs!
