The Geneseo Library Writing Club, Writing Rocks, is meeting today at the Geneseo Library from 3:30-4:30. Third-grade and up students are welcome! This month, we are going to work on creating characters, especially for the Desolation Motel!

Have you purchased your GMS yearbook yet? Time is running out. Pick up an order form in the main office, or order using your Skyward account. Don't wait! Order one today.
Attention Music students: This is a make-up assessment week for all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade band and choir students. Students were given a pass if they have assessments to make up this week.
Please check the Lost and Found cart located in the cafeteria for your missing items. Unclaimed items will be sent to Goodwill.
Congratulations to our November Student Athletes of the month: Hailey Olson and Jase Wyffels! Your coaches and teachers recognize all your hard work and effort on the team and in class! Everyone at GMS is proud of you! Way to go!
Attention Hoops Fans: We have a busy week of basketball for our Maple Leafs. Last night, here at home, our A teams hosted the Edison Eagles. The Eagle should've kept flying south past GMS as our A teams came away with two convincing victories over the Eagles. Our 7As improved to 4-0 with 40-29 victory and our 8As had a convincing 20 point victory. On the road, our B teams traveled to Eagle Ridge but these Eagles were better playing in their own home nest. Our 7Bs lost a tough one by one one point, 23-24. Our 8Bs battled hard but went down 22-35. Tonight, our As hit the road to Seton and our 8Bs hit the road to East Moline Christian. Good luck, Leafs!
